🌐 At the CLIMA2025 World Congress in Milano, Italy, the EIC cooling portfolio carried out an hybrid workshop with panelists representing all ten EIC Pathfinder Challenges Projects.

The emerging cooling technologies are structured in four thematic clusters of the portfolio:
1️⃣ #magnetocalorics: 
LEMON (kiutra GmbH), CoCoMag_EU, MAGCCINE
2️⃣ #electrocalorics, #elastocalorics, #barocalorics: 
COOLPOL - Cooling with Electrocaloric Polymers (EIC Pathfinder Challenges), SMACool, FROSTBIT
3️⃣ #thermomechanical and #sorption technology: 
HYDROCOOL Project, Dyman Project EU, CHARCOOL EU,
4️⃣ soft fault detection: @BEYOND.

The projects are funded by European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), represented at the workshop by project officers Darina Botsova, Adelina Nicolaie, and portfolio officer Johannes B..

The three axes of the collaboration in the portfolio are
1) Techno-scientific
2) Innovation, regulation and standardization
3) Dissemination and exploitation
